Saudi authorities revealed that more than 40 women have left the country to join the ISIS in Syria since 2011.
Mansour Al Turki, spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Interior, said that a total of 46 Saudi women have joined ISIS, some of them were accompanied by their children.
According to media reports, the most recent of the 46 Saudi women to join ISIS crossed into Syria in July along with her children and several other women.
The 40-year-old woman has reportedly twitted that she intends to carry out a suicide attack soon.
“Of the 1,677 suspects detained by authorities and charged with supporting ISIS, 1375 are Saudi while 302 are foreign residents from 31 countries.”
