Thousands of protesters took to the street on Friday following central prayer in Duraz, west of the capital Manama. The protesters raised placards of the jailed opposition leader Sheikh Ali Salman demanding freedom to all prisoners of conscience.
The protesters also stressed the necessary need for a democratically elected government in a state that respects equal citizenship and human rights.
Bahrain has been seeing day-and-night protests marching numerous areas across the country despite official attempts to silence the people through the use of force, arrests and politically motivated trials.
