Ahlul Bayt News Agency -ABNA- HujjatulIslam Muhammad Salar, the Chief of Staff of the 6th General Assembly of the Ahlul Bayt World Assembly, in an exclusive interview with ABNA reporter explained more details about the programs of the conference.
He described these General Assemblies as the most important program of the Ahlul Bayt World Assembly and said: By this meeting, we could reach our main goals: to define fundamental lines of the Assembly activities; to being aware of the problems that Ahlul Bayt followers have been faced in recent years; to take advantage of the capabilities and abilities that we have in Shiite world; and to determine the next strategies of the Assembly.
He also by referring to the statutes of the Assembly noted that the General Assembly will be held every four years and said: "During this meeting, the members of the Assembly could exchange their experiences and this could help them to keep their solidarity against the threats of the enemies. In this case we are considering Shiite situations in three parts: The international community; the world of Islam; and inside the community of the followers of Ahlul Bayt (AS)."
He also said that this year about 1,800 Shiite elite from 130 countries have been invited to the meeting.
Muhammad Salar also announced the twelve commissions of the Assembly as follows:
Regional Commissions: The Commission of West, East and Southeast Asia; The Commission of Central Asia and the Caucasus; The Commission of European Countries; The Commission of American Countries; The Commission of Arabic countries" and The Commission of African Countries.
Thematic Commissions: Missionary and Cultural Commission and Seminaries; Commission of Politics, Laws and Parties; Commission of Welfare and Economic Affairs; Commission of Women and Family; Commission of Youth and Academicians; and Commission of Media, Cyberspace and Social networks.
The 6th General Assembly of the Ahlul Bayt World Assembly is going to be held on August 15 to 18, 2015.
