DR. Haider Zaidi: Education is like a triangle, knowledge, skills and behavior

Dr Zaidi said: education is like a triangle which has three sides, including knowledge, skills and behavior. The issue of education and training and in other words, teachers and apprenticeship, were from past and now we should also pay special attention to it.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency - At the closing ceremony of the 8th International Congress of Imamia Muslim Medics, the new head of the World Muslim Medics, Dr. Haider Zaidi, referred to the characters of the Congress and said medical education is one of the important issues in the world and there are different theories about it. 

Doctor 'Haider Zaidi' pointed to the medical education in different countries and said: knowledge is a virtue that can be used in both aspects, the negative and the positive, and based on human nature, it go true the positive aspect.

He said training is a palpable change between good and evil. Regarding to this there are two types of formal education, including scientific and academic trainings and non-formal education, such as Adhan (call to prayer) read in the ears of infants and indoctrination in the first night of the grave.

The new head of the International organization of Imamia Muslim Medics called education as a triangle which has three sides, including knowledge, skills and behavior. He said: The issue of education and training and in other words, teachers and apprenticeship, were from past and now we should also pay special attention to it.

Professor Zaidi said: The Muslim medics should use the existing capacities of past people and attention to new human topics and integrate them together.

He emphasized that medical educators need to be fully up to date in the fields of their business and noted: when using web (internet) we should be cautious about it and never have full confidence to this technology.

The 8th International Congress of Imamia Muslim Medics wrapped up in Mashhad with the speech of Dr. Velayati and Dr. Gholam Ali Haddad Adel, the advisers to the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, in Mashhad.

Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly in collaboration with some academic, cultural and religious institutions held the 8th International Congress of Muslim Medics in Iran's different cities.

In this congress 300 Shiite doctors from around the world will participate in the scientific meetings, workshops, pilgrimage and cultural programs.

Imamia Medics International, the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Astan Quds Razavi, Municipality of Mashhad and the Governor of Fars province are helping the Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly for holding this congress.

It will be an intellectual, spiritual and social event beginning from Mashhad and to Tehran, Qom, Isfahan and Shiraz.
