8th International Congress of Muslim Medics kick off in Mashhad

According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency the 8th International Congress of World Muslim Medics kicked off in holy city of Mashhad, Iran today 30th July 2015.

According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency the 8th International Congress of World Muslim Medics kicked off in holy city of Mashhad, Iran today 30th July 2015.

Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly in collaboration with some academic, cultural and religious institutions held the 8th International Congress of Muslim Medics in Iran's different cities.

In this congress 300 Shiite doctors from around the world will participate in the scientific meetings, workshops, pilgrimage and cultural programs.

Imamia Medics International, the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Astan Quds Razavi, Municipality of Mashhad and the Governor of Fars province are helping the Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly for holding this congress.

It will be an intellectual, spiritual and social event beginning from Mashhad and to Tehran, Qom, Isfahan and Shiraz.

The event will be attended by physicians, medical students and researchers,community members, scholars and intellectuals.

The conference will include scientific sessions covering lectures and posters presentations, sightseeing, paying tribute to holy shrines, visits to historic places, meetings with scholars, and brain-storming sessions among others.

According to the organisers of the event, the top poster and lecture presentations will win prizes.

Travel grants will be awarded to students, junior faculty members and young researchers who have submitted abstracts and qualified to present posters and lectures.
