The hosts of the 8th Imamia Medics International Conference (IMI) announce special programs and competition for young guests coming with their families. The age limit for participation is 14 – 22 years. To register in this special program and competitions please write to: youthprogramimi@gmail.com

COMPETITIONS

ESSAY COMPETITION

1.      A general essay [for boys and girls] entitled "Good Muslim Student", about 2000 words and well referenced.

2.      Special Essays: For Boys: Why Imam Ali (as) is my ideal Personality. For Girls: Why Hazrat Fatima Zahra (sa) is my ideal Personality. About 2000 words and well referenced.

All the essays should be typed in Times New Roman font size 12 and submitted in word as well as pdf format by 15th July via the e-mail of organizing secretary. Selected essays will be allowed to be read from podium in closing ceremony. Prizes and Certificates will be awarded to the participants and winners by Imam Reza (as) International Foundation and IMI.

QUIZ COMPETITION

1.      For Boys: Imam Reza (as)

2.      For Girls: Hazrat Fatima Zahra (sa)

Quiz competition will be held during the youth program on the life of Imam Reza (as) for boys and Hazrat Fatima Zahra (sa) for girls. This will be conducted by a scholar here. The books for the Quiz Competition are available on al-islam.org website.

DEBATE COMPETITION

Debate competition between two teams on theme: Justice is more important or peace? One team will be for and the other will be against.

SPECIAL ROUND TABLE FOR GIRLS

Ways to keep Islamic Cultural norms in a Liberal Society.Participants will suggest different ways and norms to be adapted.

EXTEMPORE SHORT ESSAY COMPETITION

The participants will be asked to write a very short essay [1 A4] size on a common topic.

All the participants will receive special certificates. The winners of the essays, quiz, debate and extempore short essay competitions will be given shield and prize awards in the closing ceremony by Imam Reza (as) International Foundation and IMI.

SPECIAL LECTURES, SIGHT SEEING AND VISITS

Young guests will have special lectures by leading scholars. They will also have special visits to cinemas in Mashhad and Tehran, Library of Imam Reza (as), sight-seeing to different places and will have special meetings with their local counterparts.
