Ahlul Bayt News Agency - A book titled “Fada’il Al-Imam Ali (AS)” (virtues of Imam Ali) will be translated into five languages by “Amir Al-Mu’menin (AS)” Center of Translation affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Ali (AS) in Najaf.
According to the website of the Alawi Astan, the book by late Lebanese scholar Allameh Sheikh Muhammad Javad Mughniyyah is a valuable collection of distinctions and virtues of the first infallible Imam (AS).
Seyyed Yunis Mousawi, the director of the center, said that most of the book has been translated into English, French, Swedish, Chinese and Turkish.
The five translations are expected to complete by the end of the current year, he said.
Allameh Muhammad Jawad Mughniyyah (1904-1979) was one of the contemporary prominent Shia jurisprudents and author of over sixty books.
He played an important role in the proximity of Islamic schools of thought and Muslims unity.
