Tourism bosses had launched a "I will come to Tunisia this summer" campaign just months after the last terror attacks at a museum.
Tourist figures dropped dramatically after 20 people were killed in that attack in March.
But their campaign to bring back tourists was hijacked by ISIS fanatics who used it to issue their own sick warning.
They used the same slogan but illustrated it with rifles and guns to frighten would-be holidaymakers from travelling to the country.
Sunbathers on a beach were slaughtered on Friday when a gunman opened fire with a machine gun he his under an umbrella.
The so-called Islamic State have claimed responsibility for the atrocity.
