Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, while addressing with a great gathering of scholars and teachers in Tabatabai Quran center, said that undoubtedly memorization of holy Quran has great importance but still exegesis of holy Quran should be highly focused for the provision of Quranic implications.
He said that until the exegesis of holy Quran is not focused till than achievement of Quranic implications will not be possible. Therefore, it is required that religious scholars should focus on exegesis along with other studies so that people would be benefitted from the treasure of holy Quran.
Ayatollah Nasir Makarem Shirazi said that it is required to perform such action that people would understand the implications of holy Quran as they recite holy Quran.
He said that there is reward of recitation of holy Quran but it is required to recite with understanding.
