Bahrain's ministry of interior said that it had "arrested one of the dangerous men wanted by security forces. It had also seized in a warehouse in Sitra a large amount of tools and equipment used in executing terrorist acts."
The ministry also claimed that it managed to confiscate a number of of medicines and drugs in another building in Sitra. according to the man under arrest, this place was used as a field clinic.
Bahrain Center for Human Rights stated that the detainees are forced to make incriminating confessions under torture. BCHR calls on human rights organizations to allow the UN Special Rapporteur on torture, Juan Méndez, to visit Bahrain, which refuses to schedule him a visit.
