Ahlul Bayt News Agency - Saudi reciter expressed his gratitude to Islamic Republic of Iran for providing opportunity at the International Quran competition for the Quran contestants, the news staff at the 32nd International Quran Contest reported.
Abdol Majid Ahmad Al-Hamdan, 36, spoke highly of the competition and said, “I am honored to be invited to the competition where Quran scholars and masters assemble from around the world.”
Although it was Al-Hamdan’s first time to the competition, he praised the international panel of jurors and the high-level competition.
He was pleased to meet a host of jurors from Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and Jordon at the competition and exchange experiences with them.
The Saudi reciter called Iranians hospitable and Iran beautiful and said in his two-week stay in Iran he had the chance to become familiar with Iranian customs and traditions.
