Ahlul Bayt News Agency - In the 32nd International Quran Contest, an Afghan contestant expressed his amazement at the level of courtesy and appreciation they received in the competition.
According to the news staff at Iran’s International Quran Competition, Seyyed Mohammad Heydari, a first timer in the contest and the head of Afghan delegation, expressed his delight to be in the event.
Heydari, now 26, was motivated by his family to learn Quran from the masters and teachers.
Heydari also said that there is a big community of Muslims in Afghanistan and every year Quran competitions are held among candidates adding that this year he was elected as the top winner in his country to be in the contest in Iran.
He suggested that the contestants’ instructors accompany their delegation to the competition just as coaches do in any sports field.
