Ahlul Bayt News Agency - Hojjatoleslam val Moslemin Mahmoud Rajabi has called the International Quran competition a symbol of an Islamic culture.
Mahmoud Rajabi considered the Quran a common factor among all Muslims adding that the Book has created an axis of unity in the Muslim Ummah.
Rajabi referred to a verse in the Quran and said that Quran has asked Muslims to shun disintegration and separation and use the Book as the basis in their relationships.
He referred to the International Quran Competition as an important factor for creating convergence among Muslims.
Obviously, when Muslims worldwide begin communicating with each other more, they become more aware of their common grounds and that can create more unity among them, said Mahmoud Rajabi.
