Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani has condemned the Saudi-led attack on Yemen and emphasized that the invasion will fail outright and will lead to the defeat of the House of Saud.
Grand Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani in his meeting with Hujjat al-Islam Ali Sa’idi, the representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei), in the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution referred to the sectarian war which the “global arrogance” have launched and placed in the control of ISIL, Boko Haram and other Takfiri groups. He explained that these groups are only differentiated by their names and titles but essentially, they follow the same line of thought and goals.
His Eminence explained that the tirades made by Saudi officials and muftis come because they follow the Hanbali and Takfiri schools of thought – they consider killing, destroying and annihilating Shi’ites as a religious obligation and duty. “The investments of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar are with this aim,” he added.
The revered source of emulation said that Yemen has a glorious history, said the Quran also mentions one of the great acts of the people of Yemen – the Christians of Najran came from Yemen and many events which occurred in Yemen are mentioned in prophetic narrations.
He added that the great scholars of Yemen have risen, they are warrior-like people – brave and courageous – and will certainly stand against the invaders, and they will be punished.
His Eminence strongly condemned the attack on Yemen by the Saudi regime and its "mercenaries" in the region, emphasizing that the defeat of Saudi Arabia and its was imminent.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani referred to the number of pleas Saudi Arabia made to various countries to participate in their war on Yemen, saying these countries are after Saudi money and for the same reason, they were willing to do Saudi Arabia’s bidding. "The present situation in the Islamic world is very critical," he said.
His Eminence also referred to the attack on the dignity of two teenage male Iranian pilgrims at Jeddah Airport who travelled to Saudi Arabia for the Umrah pilgrimage. “This incident is very shameful because sent these individuals travelled to attend Umrah and this is what happened to them. The competent authorities must act in a manner that does not compromise the honour and dignity of the people. Iranian authorities must meet with the Saudi authorities on this matter and "they must take appropriate action,” he said.
