NIGERIA - On Thursday 9th of April the Leader of the Shiite Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh zakzaky delivered a lengthy speech on the lofty status, life and struggle of chief of Ladies of the Worlds Sayyida Fatimah Al-Zahra at Husainiyyah Baqiyyatullah, Zaria.
Sheikh Zakzaky started his speech by congratulating the gathering on the auspicious birth anniversary of the beloved daughter of the Prophet (pbuh), and his only daughter.
In another part of his speech he described Fatimah as honour to all women in general for the fact that before her birth to the holy Prophet in fifth year after holy Prophet declared his mission, female child was buried alive and she was considered as part of asset of inheritance.
For those who don't know Sayyidah Zahra they ought to conduct research on her life and struggle to see the level of sufferings meted on her, there at, one can really appreciate and love her- her love which is ransom from burning fire on the Day of Resurrection.
On the issue regarding practical Islam in Nigeria, Sheikh Zakzaky said no one can deny the fact that all our activities include women and even if others claim the same, they must have copied from no one except the Islamic Movement- like the issue of Hijab, women education and many Islamic activities.
On the issue of family life, Sheikh call on all Muslims especially in the circle of Islamic Movement to adhere to Islamic family ethics in their lives. Islamic teachings should be our model in family life, he said.
Also Malama Zeenah Ibraheem spoke to the gathering on the life and struggle of late Imam Ruhullah Khomeini (QS), whose birthday is also the 20th of Jimada Thani, as a model in modern time.
