Bauchi zone of the Shiite Islamic Movement in Nigeria under His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky trooped to the streets to commemorate birthday anniversary of beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet of Islam, Sayyidah Fatimah al-Zahra (PBUT) with fanfare and pageantry on last Sunday.
The procession started from the Bauchi Open Theatre, passed through Wunti Gate, C and C Street, Emir Palace and finally terminated at Kobi Playground.
Members of the Islamic Movement representing various segments were in attendance, with unique display and sending relevant messages across to onlookers.
The colorful procession in honor of the Pinnacle of Women Creation, Sayyedah Zahra (A), received commendation from across strata of the society.
Unlike in the past when Sisters dominated the procession, this year’s commemoration received even participation and display by the Brothers and Sisters as stakeholders.
The event was however organized by the Sisters’ Forum of the Movement in Bauchi.
