Antoine Bara’s comments on Zeinab (SA) published

While analyzing and examining the gory events of Karbala epic, the Lebanese Christian author Antoine Bara mentions the speeches delivered by Hazrat Zeinab (SA), her poems and prayers in his book ‘Cry of Pain’.

In ‘Cry of Pain’, Events are described like scenarios in the book chapters. The writer of the book believes all research and studies about the status and prominence of Zeinab (SA) must encompass not only her position in the events of Ashura but all her ethical behavior from religious and individual perspectives.
The author of the book has devoted 25 years of his life studying and doing research on the life of this great lady. He so writes about this: “Since I started compiling this book some 25 years ago, I constantly ask myself why this book has taken so long to be written. Then I answer myself that is because examining all dimensions of her character and knowing her role and stance with regard to her brother’s revolutionary movement is beyond my capabilities.”
“Therefore, the more I reflect on the depth of the life of this kind and wise lady, the more I become aware of my own shortcomings and come to believe that writing about her psychological, educational and moral beliefs requires numerous books to be written on the subject.”
