The Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem delivered the opening lecture of the 3-day martyrdom commemoration of Sayyidah Fatimah Az-Zahra (S) at Husainiyyah Baqiyyatullah Zaria on Wednesday 4th march 2015.
During the lecture the Sheikh spoke on various reports regarding her martyrdom as well as the number of days between her martyrdom and the demise of her beloved father.
He said Covering up of her sufferings and the molestation meted on her, sheikh Zakzaky said, is one of the injustice towards her adding that the event which led to her death remains unknown to the majority of people. Moreover, those who molested her and caused her sufferings are covered up.
Similarly, the Sheikh explained, her father’s cause of death which was through poison he was feed, was covered up as well as those who were responsible.
The leader explained that she died of injuries she sustained when the door of her house fell on her when a group of people hit the door despite their knowledge of her standing behind the door.
Sheikh Zakzkay narrated various reports on how the commander of the group ordered his men to beat her up.
The Leadr expressed his dismay over how the usurpers of Leadership were busy holding meeting to elect Khalifah while the body of the holy Prophet was not yet laid to rest.
The sheikh further spoke on her worsening condition and her continuous agony over the bad incident which inflicted on her couple of days after the demise of her father.
Sheikh Zakzaky said her suffering and difficulties remains a new thing to people as they just started knowing about it.
In another part of his speech he explained how the Ummayads cursed Imam Ali and his members of Ahlulbayt (AS) for a long period on pulpits, despite the fact that in one of the tradition the Prophet he said; insult of Ali is just an insult to me; an insult to me is synonymous to insult to Allah'.
After sunset prayers Sheikh Zakzaky further spoke on suffering of Sayyidah Fatimah which is now new thing to the majority of people due to cover up.
After the lecture Sheikh recited Ziyara of Sayyidah Fatimah and closing prayer.
