A copy of the Holy Quran remained intact in a fire that broke out in a store in a bus terminal in Senegal.
Everything in the store turned to ashes in the fire except the copy of Islam’s Holy Book.
Firefighters brought the fire under control before it could cause any human casualties. Witnesses were amazed to see the Quran copy quite undamaged.
This is not the first time there are reports about Quran copies surviving fire.
Last year, a Quran remained undamaged in a fire that burned an apartment in the city of Ajman, the UAE.
In 2012, a fire in Indonesia reduced a workers’ hostel of a coal factory and a guard house to ashes, but a copy of the Holy Quran remained intact.
