The family of Mohammed Saleh Kadhim, who passed away on 20th February 2015, said in a statement that “his death was due to inhaling amounts of toxic tear gas as he was entering his home”.
The family further added that the house of the disabled victim was thrown with tear gas through collective punishment carried out by regime forces after a protest took to street demanding the release of Sheikh Ali Salman, on January 1st.
They explained that he started to constantly throw-up after this incident then his health condition further deteriorated before his death.
The Liberties and Human Rights Department in Al Wefaq National Islamic Society is following further details with the victim’s family members. Al Wefaq offers its condolences to the family and the people of Bahrain.
