Famous Shia grand cleric and scholar Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani said that the system of Islamic republic of Iran is a reflection of teachings of Islam. Although we made mistakes in rightly following this system but it is one of the best systems in the world.
Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani met the members of the committee responsible for organizing festival of “Quran and holy progeny” on 3rd February. During this meeting he said that youth is considered as the most important part of any nation.
He said that youth should try to quest for truth when they are young.
Ayatollah Alavi Gargani quoted a saying of holy prophet (SAWW) and said that the best and favorable young man is the one who follow the teachings of his seniors and worst old man is the one who behave like a child in old age.
He further said that the holy prophet (SAWW) explained the status of both young and old in his sayings.
He said that young people will be respected on judgment day if they follow the teachings of their seniors.
Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani said that the system of Iran is a reflection of teachings of Islam although mistakes have been made while following and implementing this system but it is one of the best systems in the world.
He said that Islam is the best religion and Muslim youth grows up with the love of holy Quran and Ahl-E-Bayt(AS). He said that we should pay attention towards Quranic and religious activities. According to Islamic narrations we should invite others to assist us when we intend to do some good.
In verse number 84 of Surah-E-Maida, almighty Allah says:
How should we not believe in Allah and that which hath come unto us of the Truth. And (how should we not) hope that our Lord will bring us in along with righteous folk?
He said that one should never consider himself as a creditor of Allah (SWT). Those who think that Allah is indebted of them because of their good deeds keep waiting to receive rewards from Allah (SWT).
Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani addressed the youth and said that they should continue to follow Shia grand leadership. He said that enemy has always tried to keep the youth away from religious scholars.
He said that our system may have weaknesses but we should remain watchful of our enemy.
