'Essay Contest' on the Anniversary of the Victory of Islamic Revolution in Iran

on the Anniversary of the Victory of Islamic Revolution in Iran

[the Ten Days of Dawn (Fajr)]

The Islamic Revolution led by the late Imam Khomeini (may Allah bless his soul) caused great changes in the socio-cultural, economic, and political fields in Iran. It also was a ground for major developments and outstanding impacts in the world.

Though many revolutions have occurred throughout the world, the glorious Islamic Revolution in Iran is unmatched due to its religious nature, struggle against oppression and arrogant powers, and providing support for the underprivileged groups.

The Islamic Revolution of Iran is also considered unique in all aspects especially for revival of religious identity, putting forward the idea of an Islamic government, and defending the sacred cause of Palestine.

Now, at thirty-sixth anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Department of International Affairs at the Ahlulbayt World Assembly intends to hold an Essay Contest in collaboration with the Institute for Publication of Imam Khomeini’s Works.

All intellectuals, writers, and researchers are kindly invited to participate in this competition.

How to Submit Essays / Articles:

Abstracts of the articles to be sent on one page (A4 size, not exceeding 300 words) including author’s profile and academic background.

Deadline for submission of abstracts: 11 March 2015 latest.

Articles whose abstracts are approved must be sent in maximum 25 A4 pages (not exceeding a total of 7500 words) on both MS-WORD and PDF formats to the Secretariat of the Ahlulbayt World Assembly.

Deadline for submission of papers: 20 April 2015 latest.

Papers should not be used or published in other conferences or cultural, scientific and research journals within and outside Iran.

Selected articles shall be published according to the decisions by the Academic Committee. Of course, all spiritual rights of the authors shall be preserved and precious prizes will be awarded to the top selected papers.
