NIGERIA - A peaceful Procession was held in Abuja, Nigeria, demanding for justice over the killing of 34 people six months ago by the Nigerian soldiers in Zaria.
The rally, organised by the members of the Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria which comprises of students of higher institutions, took place in Nigeria's capital on the 28th of Jan., 2015.
The students were carrying placards with different inscriptions on them. They matched to the Headquartes of National Human Right Comission (NHRC) where they lodged complaints, while demanding for justice.
Abdurrahman Yakubu, Director Protection and Investigation of National Human Right Commission (NHRC), addressed News men at the office Premises, on their stance and investigation so far over the killing of 34 people on Quds day (25th July, 2014) by the Nigerian Soldiers.
Both local and International media covered the event which include 'ABNA24.com'. Thirty four people were martyred by the Nigerien soldiers while commemorating International Quds Day in Zaria among them were three sons of Sheikh Zakzaky on 25th of July 2014 in Zaria.
