Ayatollah Kazem Sediqi made the remarks in the second sermon of Tehran's Friday Prayers.
He added Bahrain government is ignoring its nation's legitimate, legal, and natural human rights, who want to have a say in running their country.
Sediqi continued that Bahrainis have been protesting peacefully for four yers to express their demands.
'During these four years, the so-called supporters of human rights did not take any steps to defend Bahraini people, on contrary, they supported the oppression and autocracy in Bahrain.'
The ayatollah added the regime of Bahrain, taking no heed of warnings by Islamic scholars and religious authorities, intends to put the well-known cleric on trial.
Concerning insult to the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in a French magazine, Sediqi called it the most regrettable and sorrowful issue, adding that Prophet Mohammad is an evidence of righteousness of past prophets, and if his righteousness is questioned, then all prophets will be questioned, too.
