The Supreme Leader made the remarks in a meeting with thousands of people from Qom.
Ayatollah Khamenei said no official will be ready to give concession contrary to the national aspirations.
'Causing rift and division among the public in any pretext and justification is against national interests and aspirations.'
The Supreme Leader said the world arrogance enmity with Iran never ends and officials should rely on domestic forces to deprive the 'distrusted' enemy of the tool of sanctions, while pinning hope on the clear-cut points and fulfill their duty to materialize aspirations of the revolution and the nation.
Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the January 9 uprising in Qom as a 'historical, great and decisive' event and said there are efforts at work to put the great and decisive events and occasions of the Islamic Revolution and of the past three decades to oblivion but as long as Iranian nation is alive and just people are on the scene, no such a thing will happen.
'The anti-Islamic Republic camp had pinned hope on the second and third generations, trying to dissuade them from the Islamic Revolution but to no avail.' Ayatllah Khamenei said that the third and young generation in Iran created the January 9 great event and slapped heavily on the face of those trying to divert the Islamic Revolution from its path through plots and conspiracies.
The Ayatollah recalled that the January 9 event should be taken as general movement in the country, which made the Iranian nation enter the scene of campaign against the idols and toppling the monarchical regime.
The Supreme Leader then referred to efforts to distort realities about the former Pahlavi regime and said the 'black dictatorship' and its use of the 'most merciless' methods and the 'most savage' torture in dreadful prisons were among the distinctive features of the Pahlavi regime and ironically all the so-called advocates of human rights did support such a regime whole-heartedly.
The Supreme Leader referred to the role of Zionists and Americans in establishment of the 'hellish' Savak in the former regime and said recent disclosures on the secret prisons and tortures of the CIA in the US show that Americans' claims of supporting freedom of expression do not at all concord with realties.
The Supreme Leader pointed to the 'humiliating' dependence on foreign powers as other distinctive feature of the Pahlavi regime and said those times, what interests of foreign powers, especially the US, were taken into consideration in the policies and domestic, regional and international issues and Iranian nation was strongly humiliated as a result.
The reason for Americans' never ending hostility and hatred of Iranian nation and Islamic Revolution is that a country like Iran with so and so specifications and strategic situation was taken out of their administration by the Islamic Revolution's triumph.
The third outstanding feature of Pahlavi regime was its suffering from sexual, financial and moral corruption in the highest government echelon, the Supreme Leader said.
The dirty and corrupt regime did not at all take the people into account and gave not the least importance to the votes and opinion of the people and the link between people and the government was completely disrupted.
He said disrespect to scientific progress, spread of the attitude of lower self-esteem, magnifying western culture, making the public accustomed to imports instead of reviving domestic production, removal of agriculture and national industries were among other dark points in the black record of the Pahlavi regime.
'The intelligent Iranian nation, which was witnessing such humiliation, injustice and corruption for years, entered the scene and turned victorious eventually in light of leadership of a divine man, the late Imam Khomeini.'
Ayatollah Khamenei said current progress and success and vigilance and Iranian nation's high position in the region are all because of removal of a great obstacle -- the corrupt, tyrant and dependent Pahlavi regime.
Ayatollah Khamenei referred to hostility of the camp of arrogance against Iranian nation after victory of the Islamic Revolution and emphasized that no body should imagine that enemy will stop hostility and dirty acts.
'Keeping ignorance against enemy and trusting it, the enemy will find the chance to follow up its intentions in the country; however, if you are strong, well-prepared and vigilant of the enemy, the arrogance will have no option but stopping hostility.'
'The pressures exerted on Iranian nation today by the world bullying powers are due to a never ending hostility. There is a long distance still ahead till full materialization of such aspirations as social justice and Islamic ethics. However, contrary to the uncalculated and wrong claims of certain people on failure of Iranian nation to attain success, the nation has been capable of moving in the path of aspirations and achieving very great success.'
Criticizing those ignoring success of the Iranian nation, including its scientific achievements, the Supreme Leader questioned why do you deny unwisely the achievements acknowledged by the world scientific bases and by raising wrong and unfair claims, create doubts about the honorable achievements of the people, which made even enemies admire them.
The Ayatollah said that today, Iranian nation continues honorably the path of Islam.
Elsewhere in his speech, the Supreme Leader highlighted the priorities of the country and the society, saying unity and national solidarity are the most important needs today.
The Ayatollah said all have the duty to help the officials and government, while re-emphasizing the need to look inside. 'Those in the government camp should also know that the only thing that would make them fulfill their duty is reliance on the people and domestic forces.'
The Supreme Leader called on the authorities to make efforts to immunize the economy against the Western sanctions.
The Leader made the remarks while addressing a large number of people and clerics from the holy city of Qom, religious capital of Iran, on the occasion of the anniversary of a public uprising in 1977 in that city under the Pahlavi regime.
“Enemies of Iran have created a problem for the country by the sanctions. Now, if the precondition of lifting the sanctions is something your honor would not accept what would you do?” Ayatollah Khamenei questioned the people.
“No Iranian official would accept any prerequisite for lifting the anti-Iran sanctions if it is against his dignity,” stressed the Supreme Leader.
He urged the Iranian officials to try to immunize the country against Western sanctions.
The Leader said, “Evil motives are at work to distort influential and significant dates of the Islamic Revolution or clear them from the people's mind.”
The Supreme Leader also touched on the nuclear talks and said he did not oppose the talks but believed that one should pin hopes on the promising points not on false ones.
