According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA), Ahlul Bayt World Assembly’s Secretary General and his company visited Ayatollah Sayyed Mortada Al-Qazwini, a Great Scholar in Karbala and Imam of Imam Hussain’s holy Shrine, in their trip to Karbala.
Thanking Islamic Republic’s help to Iraq in fighting Takfiri Terrorists, Ayatollah Al-Qazwini, in this meeting, said: We thank the Supreme Leader and the Iranian Officials; Our forces could deliver the southern cities from Takfiri Wolves only because of Iran’s help and weapons.
Stressing on takfiri terrorists backed by Saudi and Wahhabis, he added: Daesh (ISIS) were going to attack Karbala from both sides. If they arrived in Karbala, they would repeat the atrocities as Wahhabis committed in their both past invasions. But, thanks God, Iran defended us and “Jurf Al Nasr” was freed.
The grand Ayatollah addressing Ahlul Bayt World Assembly’s Secretary General, Ayatollah Akhtari, explained that: I want you to thank the Supreme Leader on behalf of Shias of Iraq and Karbala and tell him: “ you saved millions of lives in Karbala and Iraq”. And I say it, without any exaggeration and flattery.
Hinting at the axis of resistance in different countries, he said: at the present time, a politician, intelligent, courageous and profound person like "Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah," who has the Islamic Republic’s support, is rattling in Lebanon, and even his speeches are so effective that each of his sentences should be analyzed. In Syria too, America, Israel and Arab Rulers want to topple “Bashar al-Assad” but they can’t. In Yemen as well, we see that Shias have risen to power.
Ayatollah Al-Qazwini then pointed at some problems present in Iraq and said: Due to some army commanders’ treachery, over thousands of young elites and Shia officers have been killed in two tragedies of “Spiker” and “Saqlawiyah “. Thus, in Eid al-Fitr’s sermon, I said that Iraq needs a “Religious Army” just like Iran’s IRGC and Basij volunteer forces that Imam Khomeini (ra) created after Islamic Revolution. And today Islam’s grandeur is because of these forces. Lebanese Hezbollah did the same and organized the young believers as military forces.
Then he added: in Iran, the youth recognized that that their Supreme Leader is not worldly, so they went to war with heart and soul and sacrificed their lives. But in Iraq it is not the same and there are problems in the government bad elements in parliament.
The preacher of Imam Hussain’s Holy Shrine added: Many times I have said on Imam Hussain’s pulpit that there are many bars in Baghdad and police ensures their security but does not care about mosques and hussainiahs. A city with this much corruption must have this much explosions.
Ayatollah Akhtari, while supporting Ayatollah Ghazvini’s views, explained Iran and the Supreme Leader’s support of Islamic Resistance in Lebanon and Palestine and said: in the 33-day war I was Iran’s Ambassador in Syria and declared that: “Israel is destroyed”; because they thought that they had a great advantage over Hezbollah by making Merkava tanks but Hezbollah exterminated 40 of them in a single day.
He added: when Hezbollah destroyed their Frigate at sea, Zionists realized that this was done by Iranianmissiles and that they cannot approach Hezbollah with navy either. Therefore, the Supreme Leader said that if west bank moves we will equip them with weapons.
The Ahlul Bayt World Assembly’s Secretary General, by stressing on the importance of Imam Hussain’s pilgrimage, delivered a report of the Assembly’s activities and said: about 45 to 55 millions visit Karbala every year and it is worth taking advantage of this opportunity to feed the pilgrims intellectually.
Then Ayatollah “Sayyed Alireza Husaini Aref”, The Ahlul Bayt World Assembly’s Director of Information Technology presented a report on digital products of the Assembly and offered samples of these works to Ayatollah Ghazvini.
It is worth mentioning that Ayatollah Mohammad Hasan Akhtari during his visit to Iraq met “Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Taghi Modaresi”, “Sayyed Mortada Al-Qazwini” of great scholars of Karbala, “Aghil Tarihi” Karbala’s Governor-general, “Jasem Khatai “ President of KarbalaProvincialCouncil, “Ayatollah Sayyed Amar Hakim” President of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, “Ayatollah Ghobanchi” Friday Prayer Leader of Najaf, Two members of the parliamentary faction of the Supreme Council of Iraq and “Danai Far” Iran’s Ambassador in Baghdad.
In these meetings the latest security, political, economical and religious status of Iraq was discussed and the Ahlul Bayt World Assembly’s Secretary General congratulated the recent victories of Iraq’s army and people over Daesh (ISIS) terrorists and thanked Iraqi officials, Iraq’s Army and Karbala province officials for holding the mourning ceremony of Imam Hussain without any incident.
Scholars and officials in Karbala too thanked Iran’s Supreme Leader and Government for helping to ensure security in Iraq. They called for Iran’s Cultural and economical investment in Iraq.
