Islamic Jurisprudent Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad-Ali Alavi-Gorgani visited the Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought and stressed the crucial role of unity among Muslims.
Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad-Ali Alavi-Gorgani, a professor of the Holy Islamic Seminary of Qom in his recent visit with Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohsen Araki put stress on the necessity of unity among Muslims from different Islamic sects and denominations, unmasking the main aim enemies which is furthering dispersion and division among Muslims.
“Back to the time Shia and Sunni people live along well with each other, what we observed among them was brotherhood and respect,” said the senior cleric.
Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani beckoned to the prime importance of informing people and underscored it is incumbent upon religious clerics to inform Muslims so as to stand against dispersion.
The grand Ayatollah went on to add, “Both Shia and Sunni people should respect each other, refraining from insulting each other’s holy concept.”
Needless to say, Ayatollah Alavi-Gorgani earlier emphasized that good relations and links between countries will have positive impacts on the market and increase the level of trade, and added that provoking differences between countries and peoples harms both parties and leads to backwardness and underdevelopment.
In this visit, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki also beckoned to the plots and machinations concocted by enemies, putting accentuation on this very line that the present situation Muslims are in is very vulnerable.
The senior cleric highlighted the plots hatched by enemies and in this regard beckoned to some Satellite Channels which aim at the standing unity in the World of Islam and in doing so the Arrogant World supply the route for them.
“So many attempts have been done against dispersion in the World of Islam,” underlined Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, highlighting the events and conferences which have been mounted by religious clerics and scholars in this area.
The religious cleric also accentuated the annual conference of Islamic Unity which is held in Iran Capital City of Tehran and underscored this year the event will be held with more than 400 prominent Shia and Sunni religious clerics in attendance.
