A large explosion shook Yemen's capital Sanaa on Wednesday targeting the home of the Iranian ambassador causing casualties.
A suicide attacker drove an explosives-laden vehicle at the building, a Yemeni security official said, adding that several Yemeni and Iranian security guards were killed in the attack.
Ambassador Hassan Sayed Nam was not in the house when the attack took place in the diplomatic district of Hada, guards told Agence France-Presse.
A Yemeni soldier on guard outside the embassy said that people were attempting to pull others from the rubble.
