Jannati stressed that “Ashura” (the day Imam Hussein was martyred) is such a great historical event and carrying such humane themes that it has made all the freedom-pursuer authors of the world to conduct researches on it.
Ali Jannati held that “Ashura” and generally the Imams’ lives are so great that they have appealed not only all the Muslims but the entire freedom-pursuers.
“George Jordac, the renowned Lebanese author, whose books most of us are familiar with, loved Hazrat Ali (father of Imam Hussein) so much and his great book on him was translated and published over and over before the Revolution,” Jannati maintained.
“Antoine Bara is also Christian but knows and loves Imam Hussein and his family so much that last year he took part in Arba’ein Walking, this is while most of us don’t have that knowledge and just cry for Imam’s state of being oppressed,” the minister added.
Mehdi Khamoush, the chief of Islamic Development Organization also held that Antoine Bara’s prose is highly delicate and close to poetry and he recommended all the researchers to read his book.
This book has been translated by Gholam Hossein Ansari into Persian.
