Bahrain regime unlawfully distributed nationality to tens of thousands

The Bahraini regime destroyed the social fabric in Bahrain and the Gulf by distributing nationality to tens of thousands from various countries around the world.

Statement by the National Democratic Opposition Parties in Bahrain:

Political Naturalization destroys the social fabric, citizen-runaway is anticipated

The Bahraini regime destroyed the social fabric in Bahrain and the Gulf by distributing nationality to tens of thousands from various countries around the world.

The National Democratic Opposition Parties, which represent the political majority of the Bahraini people, stress that this destructive project has stripped the Bahraini citizens of their rights and made them low-class citizens while the naturalized foreigners are given priority in housing, jobs, education, health-care and security and military jobs.

The opposition parties outlined that it has been anticipated that citizens will escape the current disastrous situation due to the illegal political naturalization and absence of security and opportunity.

The Bahraini regime must end this crazy and random distribution of Bahraini nationality to foreigners and revoke nationalities of individuals that were granted citizenship in contradiction to the law and international standards.

The vast majority of the naturalized foreigners in Bahrain are not qualified persons who could serve the country. In fact, tens of thousands of low-education-class foreigners have been brought to Bahrain in order to change the demography of the country and replace the native people with foreigners as an attempt to make a base for the unpopular regime.

The Bahraini regime is revoking citizenships from native citizens, while on the other hand, it is attacking citizens who seek Gulf-State nationalities due to the catastrophic political and economic conditions in the country. Some citizens seek other nationalities to escape the absence of justice and the discrimination that reached new factions.

The main reason behind the escalating crisis in Bahrain is the Authority’s stubbornness and the absence of State-institutions and the preference of military solutions as well as political naturalization making the environment unstable and frustrating to citizens.
