A book titled “Al-Imam Al-Reza (AS) inda Ahl Al-Sunnah” (Imam Reza (AS) in view of Sunnis) will be translated and published in Thai language.
Mostafa Najjarianzadeh, Iranian cultural attaché in Thailand, said that translation of the book from the Arabic language into Thai is underway with the cooperation of Ahl-ul-Bait (AS) World Assembly.
Published by Astan-e Quds Razavi Publications, the book includes viewpoints of eminent scholars of Sunni Muslims about the eighth infallible Imam (AS), he added.
Sheikh Ayyub Yumiyay, who leads prayers at “Imam Ali (AS)” Mosque in Trang, one of the southern provinces of Thailand, is rendering the book into the Thai language.
He is one of the well known figures and prominent translators of the country who has written and translated more than 20 books on Islamic and religious themes.
The Iranian official said that the translation of the book will complete in four months.
Imam Ali (AS) Mosque in Trang is the first Shia mosque established in the southern part of Thailand about 40 years ago.
