Hizbullah Secretary General, His Eminence, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah appeared before the thousands of people who came to take part in al-Quds day ceremony in Sayyed al-Shuhada complex.
The ceremony, scheduled to take place at 5:00 p.m. on the last Friday of the Holy month of Ramadan, held the surprise presence of Sayyed Nasrallah, who thanked the people for participating in the event, despite the current circumstances and dangers.
Sayyed Nasrallah expressed condolences to the families of the Algerian plane victims, saluted the souls of the Gaza war victims and martyrs, to the July 2006 martyrs, the resistance fighters, the wounded, and the resilient people who continue to preserve the resistance, which is the only hope to the people.
"In light of the latest events, especially in the Gaza Strip and the coming of al-Quds International Day, I saw that we must meet here, in this place which has become familiar with the funerals of our martyrs, the reception of our liberated detainees and our celebrations of triumph and victory."
Sayyed Nasrallah reminded that al-Quds Day is a motivation and a reminder of the central cause, so that al-Quds and Palestine remain in our hearts, minds, culture, work and in our priorities.
He noted "Imam [Ruhollah] Khomeini designated the last Friday of the Holy month of Ramadan as al-Quds International day to assure the holiness and importance of this Islamic cause."
Sayyed Nasrallah said that following the Zionist occupation of Palestine, "the Zionists have worked for long years -and are still- working on eliminating the Palestinian cause, considering that the Palestinian people no longer exist and that al-Quds has become meaningless to Muslims and Christians and that al-Quds has become the eternal capital of so-called Jewish state."
"The Zionists did not consider at all returning even one meter of the Palestinian land to its owners, and therefore we consider that consensus over al-Quds is absolute," He went on to say.
Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that today, "Gaza is being slaughtered, other priorities prevail in other Arab countries such as the issues of gas and of wages. These are rightful demands but "Israel" wants these to become the crucial cause so that the Palestinian cause would be forgotten."
He assured that "the Palestinian people, whether inside Palestine, in exodus, or in camps, and despite all the harsh living conditions still adhere to their land, cause, sanctities, and rights and refuse to give up and be oppressed."
He further explained "Isolating Palestinians on the psychological, political, and emotional levels from the region's people is the most dangerous thing that has been committed during the past years. People in the region have reached a state in which Palestine no longer means anything to them. This is being witnessed in Arab media. And even in Lebanon, there is an effort exerted to choose a Palestinian suicide bomber, to differentiate between Palestinians and other nationalities."
His Eminence stressed "Hence, despite all the conspiracies, the Palestinian cause continues to dominate over the Arab countries and the world."
On another note, Sayyed Nasrallah iterated that there is a black ops. room, that has been in action since decades, that works on breaking any relations or links between the Lebanese, Syrians, Iraqis, Egyptians, and Palestinians.
Also, he mentioned that adhering to the Palestinian cause is one of the reasons for Syria's resilience and for the victory of the Islamic revolution in Iran.
"What we are experiencing today as a nation and as an Ummah is the most dangerous situation ever since the occupation of Palestine and it is because of the systematic destruction of countries, armies, people and societies."
Sayyed Nasrallah vehemently condemned what the Muslims and Christians alike are facing in Iraq, also the destruction of religious shrines, mosques, churches and the Aqsa mosque.
"Iraq has entered a dark tunnel under the name of Islam and Islamic Caliphate and Christians are experiencing forced migration, Sunnis are clashing with ISIL and do not have an option other that being slaughtered or joining IS, and Shiites are only faced with killings. As Muslims today, it is among our duties to condemn what Christians and Muslims are experiencing in Iraq."
His Eminence also added that "The US, the West, and the UN Council cover the war, some Arab regimes are also conspirators, yet on the other hand, the people pf Gaza held tight onto the resistance, there has been political steadfastness to the stances of the resistance movements," noting "I tell you all, that what will determine the situation is the tripartite equation of the battle on field, the popular steadfastness, and the political determination."
Sayyed Nasrallah assured "We can fully understand what is happening in Gaza today because the same thing happened in the July 2006 war. The "Israelis" took advantage of the kidnapping of the three settlers, which was falsely blamed on Hamas, and was a pretext to start war."
"I tell Gazans that only civilian and political resistance will put an end to the conflict," Sayyed Nasrallah stressed.
According to the Hizbullah leader, "The objective of the war is not Hamas only but all the resistance including every tunnel, rocket, and weapon in Gaza."
He also accentuated that Gaza, while burying its martyrs, has triumphed through the logic of the resistance and will triumph in the future, reiterating "When we reach day 18 of the war amid Israeli and international failure to achieve goals in Gaza, this means the resistance has triumphed."
Sayyed Nasrllah stated that the "Israelis" will eventually realize they cannot continue as such, and they will call on the Americans to look for a solution.
He also clarified that the "Israelis" totally failed in their goal, due to a few major reasons.
"First, there was an "Israeli" confusion in determining the goal of the war. Second, the "Israeli" intelligence failed in determining the capacity of the resistance and the location of rockets and of fighters, and third, the air force failed in the battle and this is an important thing for Gaza and for Lebanon."
Sayyed Nasrallah elaborated that as "Israel" majorly failed in achieving its goals and felt helpless before the letdown, it resorted to killing innocent children and targeting civilians and inhabited areas, in order to exert pressure on the incubating environment of the resistance, exactly what it had tried to do in the 2006 July war.
"The same thing happened in Lebanon. They wished people would stop protesting in Lebanon but this did not happen thanks to you, the most honorable people."
"Ehud Barak had said that any future "Israeli" war waged will be quick and victorious, but this fell with the current Gaza war," Sayyed added.
The Secretary General noted that since the first day, the resistance's goals were clear and included: "lifting the siege, resilience in the battlefield, greatness in the battlefield, taking initiatives in the battlefield, continuing to fire rockets, and launching rockets to target unprecedented places."
He went on to say "This is the first time rockets are launched from within the Palestinian territories to target the occupied land. There is great trust in God and in the resistance, popular resilience, there is no pressure on the resistance in Gaza instead people are embracing it, and there is political resilience and a rejection of regional and international pressure."
Sayyed Nasrallah also pointed out "Our responsibility towards this crucial event remains putting all differences, sensitivities, and problems aside regarding several issues to approach the Gaza case as a people and a resistance's cause that does not entail any confusion between the good and the bad...Gaza, with all its blood, human remains, and victories, must be above all considerations, all calculations and all sensitivities."
He further stated "Unfortunately we heard in some Arab media outlets those who hold the resistance responsible for the blood. It is shameful and sad to find an Arab on an Arab network sympathizing with "Israeli" soldiers...We call on Arab and Islamic nations to endorse lifting the siege because it contributes to daily Palestinian deaths."
Also, Sayyed Nasrallah accentuated that "Iran and Syria along with the resistance in Lebanon, particularly Hizbullah, have not fallen short in supporting the Palestinian resistance for years with all available media, financial and logistical means," adding "Hizbullah did and will continue to stand by the Palestinian people and by the resistance in Palestine. Hizbullah did not spare any support for the resistance."
His Eminence highlighted that "Hizbullah and the Palestinian resistance are real partners in struggle and in hopes and the resistance victory is a victory for us all."
"We tell our brothers in Gaza we are with you and beside you and we will do anything that we perceive is a duty on all fronts. We tell the Zionists, you are in the circle of the frail spider web, do not move further to approach the circle of suicide."
