An educational workshop titled “Mulla Sadra and Hekmah Mota’aliyah (sublime wisdom)” was organized by Iran Chamber and Usul Al-Din Faculty of Raden Fatah University in Palembang, Indonesia.
Iranian Cultural Center in Indonesia also cooperated to hold the workshop. The university’s students of philosophy and Quran sciences got acquainted with the character and intellectual principles of Mulla Sadra, Iranian philosopher.
The workshop was instructed by Abbasi, from Algeria who has educated at Al-Mustafa International University in the holy city of Qom.
Abbasi is a lecturer at Sadra Islamic College in Jakarta.
He talked about the life and works of Mulla Sadra and answered questions raised by students about paradigms of Islamic philosophy, namely, Masha', Ishraq and Hekmah al-Muta’aliyah and the current status of Islamic philosophy in Iran.
