Regime forces repress protests across Bahrain, Alabbar remains in morgue

A number of protesters were injured with shotgun, while neighborhoods were rained with toxic tear-gas canisters. A religious place in Bilad Qadeem went on fire, partly, due to the forces’ random shooting.

On Wednesday, regime forces cracked down on peaceful marches protesting the Authority’s refusal to respond to the family of the martyr Abdulazziz Alabbar by including the real cause of death in his death certificate. Alabbar died on April 18th from injuries he sustained when he was shot to the head by regime forces in Sar, west of Manama in last February. His corpse has been in the morgue in Salmaniya hospital for over 60 days now.

A number of protesters were injured with shotgun, while neighborhoods were rained with toxic tear-gas canisters. A religious place in Bilad Qadeem went on fire, partly, due to the forces’ random shooting.

In the evening, trading stores closed and residents turned their lights off joining the mourning of the martyr Alabbar.

The Bahraini Authority is refusing to mention the reason of death in the martyr’s death certificate in attempt to protect his killer from punishment within its policy of impunity to killers and human rights violators.
