Malama Zeenah Ibraheem has called on women to emulate the resistance demonstrated by Sayyidah Zahra (SA), daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) in the face of oppression and injustice.

Malama Zeenah Ibraheem has called on women to emulate the resistance demonstrated by Sayyidah Zahra (SA), daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) in the face of oppression and injustice.

She made the call in an interview with PRESS TV during the Yaum Zahra (S.A.) in Zaria, shortly after the procession as part of events marking this year’s birthday of Sayyidah Zahra (SA).

She pointed out that, Sayyidah Zahra (SA) spoke out against the injustice meted on the pure household of the Holy Prophet (SAWA) after his death, and never relented in enlightening the people over their sufferings.

According to her, such resistance was recorded in history for generations worthy of emulation, adding that had she kept quite the unfortunate incident would have been kept in the dark and unknown. “Her resistance had brought to limelight will of the Holy Prophet and kept it alive”, she said.

Malama Zeenah further said, if women would emulate Sayyidah Zahra (SA), oppression and injustice would not have flourished as it is flourishing now.

On the status of Sayyidah Zahra (SA), Malama Zeenah said, she is the Pinnacle of Allah’s creation not only among the world ladies, but of the entire celestial bodies. She said, celebration of birthday of Sayyidah Zahra (SA) is keeping her struggle alive, as well as exposing the corrupt and unjust leaders of her time who tried to change the will and testament of the Holy Prophet (SAWA).
