Shiites mourned the brutal assassinations of Shia doctors, lawyer, businessmen and notables in an intensified wave of terrorism in many areas of the city of Karachi and in rest of the country. Main protest rally was staged outside of Khoja Isna Ashari Jamey Masjid Kharadar where Maulana Munawar Naqvi, Asif Safavi, Ahsan Abbas and Shabbir Hussain spoke.
Amid the slogans of Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS) and Shia Muslims take pride in the red demise through martyrdom, the MWM officials lashed out at Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah holding him responsible for the unabated assassinations of Shiites.
The demonstrators were chanting slogans against the Yazidi takfiri terrorists of outlawed terrorist groups. They said that U.S.-Saudi-Israeli nexus was using anti-Pakistan affiliates of Taliban as proxies to punish their opponents in Pakistan despite the fact that these terrorist groups were banned by the government itself.
The MWM officials said that Sindh Government accorded official protocol to the terrorists of banned terrorist outfits and this policy was tantamount to patronizing them against the innocent Shia citizens of Pakistan.
They expressed surprise over the PPP-led government’s policies because the Sindh Government was siding with the terrorists against the stated policy of PPP’s Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who challenged the terrorists. They demanded Bilawal Bhutto to take notice of his party’s Sindh Government’s inaction against the terrorists.
They warned the PPP and Sindh Government that defenceless peaceful Shia Muslims were planning to stage a sit-in outside CM House and Bilawal House that would continue till the government’s crackdown on the terrorists. They demanded the judiciary to order the government to execute the condemned terrorists forthwith.
The MWM’s officials believed that Saudi monarchy’s 1.5 billion dollars to the PMLN government were aimed at patronizing the Yazidi terrorists for genocide against Shia Muslims.
They demanded immediate arrest of the killers of Shiites: Dr Raza Haider, Dr Qasim Abbas, lawyer Waqar ul Hassan Shah, and all those Shia notables who were assassinated during last 20 days in particular.
Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan also observed a protest day on Friday on a call from Allama Baqar Najafi, President SUC Sindh chapter. Allama Najafi also lambasted the Sindh Government for its failure to shoulder prime responsibility that is to protect the citizens.
