Bahrain: angry citizens mourn teargas victim

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Jawad al-Hawi was buried yesterday in Sitra island, south of the capital Manama, where Bahrainis gathered to participate in his funeral procession. Jawad died due to inhaling amounts of toxic teargas fired by the Bahrain regime forces in neighborhoods. The disproportionate and misuse of toxic teargas in Bahrain had led to many deaths among adults and children.The mourners chanted angry slogans demanding those responsible for killings and deaths be held accountable.Al-Wefaq considered Jawad a martyr based on the information provided by his family about the amount of teargas he was exposed to and the oppressive measures that followed.The funeral procession was followed by the regime forces’ collective punishment and use of force and violence against the mourners amid a wide deployment of security forces. /129
