Rallies Held against Presence of Saudi Forces in Bahrain

People in Bahrain on Sunday held rallies in protest against the presence of Saudi forces in their country.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) -  People in Bahrain on Sunday held rallies in protest against the presence of Saudi forces in their country.The demonstrations were organized on the eve of the third anniversary of the day when troops from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates invaded Bahrain to assist the Al Khalifa regime in its crack down on anti-government protests.The participants in Sunday rallies called on the United Nations to force foreign forces to pull out of Bahrain, Al-Alam news network reported. They also called for the release of political activists from the prisons of Al Khalifa regime.The protestors underlined that they will continue their peaceful activities until the objectives of Bahraini people’s revolution are realized and their demands are met.Since mid-February 2011, thousands of pro-democracy protesters have staged numerous demonstrations in the streets of Bahrain, calling for the Al Khalifa royal family to relinquish power and for foreign forces to leave the country./149
