Bahrain: The martyr Jaffar Aldurazi is a victim of torture and medical negligence

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Al Wefaq National Islamic Society has announced the death of Jaffar Aldurazi, 22, on Wednesday. The martyr was subjected to medical negligence while in custody.Al Wefaq said the authority in Bahrain is fully responsible for Aldurazi’s death by subjecting hom to physical and spychological torture within its policy to retaliate from citizens calling for democratic transition in Bahrain.Aldurazi died after he was transefered to hospital while he was in a serious condition due to denial of adequate medical care for his disease ( sickle cell anemia).Jaffar’s family has filed a lawsuit alledging he was subjected to torture, assault and electrocution.Al Wefaq said the martyr Jaffar Aldurazi is yet again another victim who reveals the regime’s practice of persecution, oppression and human rights violations against prisoners, while the torturers and killers continue to act with impunity.Al Wefaq pointed out that Aldurazi has suffered from conditions similair to those of the martyr Mohammed Mushaima who is also a sickle cell patient. Mushaima died on October 2nd, 2012, due to medical negligence too.Al Wefaq has called for wide participation in the martyr’s funeral possecion tomorrow afternoon in Daih./129
