(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Bahraini regime’s violence and excessive force excludes nobody, not even children like Mohammed Sanadi. The 12 year old opened his house’s window not knowing of the brutality that will riddle his face with shotgun pellets. The child was surprised to see the shots aimed directly at him when he opened the window of his home in Sitra island, south of the capital Manama. One pellet pierced the skin very close to his eye.Al Wefaq National Islamic Society said the regime forces have targeted homes of the innocent in a series of incidents as part of collective punishment for calling for democratic transition.Such behavior of the regime forces makes the popular demand of a security system able to protect all citizens an urgent necessity. All factions of the Bahraini people must be integrated in the country’s security and military apparatuses. This is not the first incident of the like, the regime forces’ use of this internationally prohibited weapon had caused many injuries among children as well as deaths. Ahmed Al-Nahham was 6 years old when he was targeted with shotgun while accompanying with his father who was selling fish in the street. Ahmed lost one eye due to this attack./149
