(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) Allama Alim Musawai, caretaker of Imambargah Safdar Hussain, was gunned down by unknown armed persons in Dhaki Munawar Shah area on Monday.Sources said that the Shia cleric was on way to imambargah for evening prayer when unknown bike riders targeted him with gun fire. Allama Alim Musawai was close aide of Martyr Arif Al-Hussaini, He was leader of Shia Ulema Council.He sustained two bullets and was rushed to Lady Reading Hospital for emergency medical treatment but he succumbed to injuries on the way. Soon after the incident, a heavy contingent of police rushed to the site and cordoned off the area.They also launched a search operation in the area but no arrests were made by the time of filing this report Monday night.Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen strongly condemned the target killing incident of their leader and demanded the government arrest the perpetrators as soon as possible.
