(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Two police officers killed outside Imambargah in Rawalpindi
Two police officers were martyred and two were injured in an attack on December 30 in the Pakistani city of Rawalpindi.
A local police official saidl that four unknown attackers on motorcycles opened fire at the police officers near a Shi'a mosque on Monday.
The officers were deployed for the security of an Imambargah Qasre Shabeer in Dhok Syedan in the Race Course area of the city.
Due to sporadic firing, two police cops embraced martyrdom on the spot and two sustained serious injuries.
The terrorists fled the scene without any intervention in the garrison city of Pakistan.
And as usual Shia parties and leaders have just condemned the targeted attack on Shia Imam Bargah in Dhok Syedan Pindi. They demanded immediate arrest of the terrorists and compensation and employment to the dependents of the martyr police cops by the government.
They lamented that the government took no action against the terrorists so far. They are of the views that targeted military operation would help the government to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
Two more Shias shot martyred in D.I.Khan
At least two more Shias have been killed after the terrorists of Sipah-e-Sahaba opened fire on them on Monday.
Two Shias Qais Raza aged 18-years and Mulazim Hussain aged 45-years were shot martyred in Tehsil Prova area of D.I.Khan.
