(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) The war in Syria continues and is actually getting more intense as the Geneva II Talks get closer. As the Syrian Army is fighting armed terrorist groups in the suburbs of Damascus and Homs as well as in Aleppo, the conditions of residents in the two Shia-majority cities of Nabil and Al-Zahra are getting worse. The two cities have been under terrorists’ siege for over a year and are suffering from lack of medicines, food and water.Since the beginning of the clashes in Syria, some 750 individuals have been martyred in these two cities, a figure which is very high considering the small population of the cities.Although Nabil and Al-Zahra are under siege that has not weakened the residents’ resolve to resist against the armed terrorists. The Syrian flag is fluttering in the two cities in northern Syria, thanks to the bravery and audacity of the Shia youths who are resisting against Takfiri ideology. As well as hunger and bombings, people in Nabil and Al-Zahra are now facing winter’s bitter cold. They are hoping that the army will soon arrive and rid them of the terrorists./149
