Bahrain: Al Wefaq demands immediate release of martyr’s father

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Al Wefaq National Islamic Society demanded the immediate release of Jawad Al Shaikh who has been arrested from his workplace.Jawad is the father 15 year old Ali who was killed on Eid when security forces shot him to the head with a teargas canister at close range.Mr. Al Shaikh is to remain in detention for 15 days pending investigation. He is facing accusation of “inciting hatred of the regime”. This is the second time Mr. Al Shaikh is arrested.Al Wefaq said the arrest of fathers of martyrs is a shameless measure, adding, it is a disgrace to kill the son then arrest his father for participating in a peaceful protest demanding justice for victims./129
