(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Seyyed Ali Fadhl Allah, prayer leader of Hassanein (AS) Mosque in Beirut, referred to the present tensions across Muslim and Arab world and noted,” We are constantly witness to massacre of the Syrian civilians and in spite of the wide media propaganda on Geneva II Conference and participation of both Syrian government and opposition group, there is no immediate move from the big powers supporting the conference because in fact they are all supporting bloodshed and failure of the military forces in this country.” He added,” These countries, instead of finding a solution to put an end to Syria crisis, intend to continue the clashes in a bid to sell their arms and spread religious and sectarian intrigues.” Fadhl Allah demanded leaders of Islam, Christianity and other religions to carry out their mission for holding the talks to find a solution and putting an end to the crisis in this country and save Syria from being an arena for regional and international revenges.” Friday prayer orator of Beirut also touched upon the issue of Palestine and criticized the Zionist regime for its policy of settlement expansion, murder and detention of Palestinians in the shadow of so-called talks while these talks are held to present a better appearance and support peace claims by the Zionist regime of Israel. Sheikh Ahmad Kabalan, grand Mufti of Jafari Fiq’h, in his weekly sermon called different Lebanese groups to avoid intrigues and provoking religious talks. He referred to the challenges ahead of the region and outbreak of religious clashes in the Arab countries. Shia cleric demanded all political groups to follow dialogue, wisdom and logic and leave their personal interests for the national interests of their country for the return of political stability to the country. Sheikh Afif Nablosi, orator of Sidon in Southern Lebanon, in his speech referred to the insecurity in the country demanding for an immediate measure by the government to prevent entrance of Takfiri groups to the country. He added,” Regional and international challenges have overflowed into Lebanon to spread division in the country and destabilize social and economic situation of the people.” Sidon prayer leader referred to the impacts of Syria crisis on the situation in Lebanon and said,” Now that economic and security issues in Lebanon have intensified as a result of the crisis in Syria, we wonder why the government does not take measures to prevent entrance of Takfiri groups to Lebanon?” Top cleric urged all political groups to array and support Lebanon against political and religious excommunication./149
