The Man became convinced about Islam seeing the way Ashura program is being conducted, so, he accepted Islam in the presence of thousands of Muslims during the Mourning gathering in Kano - Nigeria on 9th Muharram 1435. Formally Micheal, he recited the Shahada and chose Husain as his new name. Sheikh Muhammad Turi congratulated him.
