Moharram mourning procession fired upon, pelted with stone in Karachi

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Takfiri terrorists of Sipah-e-Sahaba attacked an mourning procession in Surjani Town of Karachi on Monday.Shia Muslims of Khuda Ki Basti (Surjani Town) brought out a mourning procession to commemorate martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussain (A). The procession was on to its culminating point, when fanatics of outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba (renamed as Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat) began firing and pelting the mourners with stones.Two Shiites were injured in the attack. They were taken to hospital for treatment. Mourners have begun staging a sit-in on the spot blocking the road for traffic. They demanded that the protest would continue till the arrest of the attackers.Shia parties and leaders have condemned the attack on peaceful mourners of Imam Hussain (A) and demanded registration of case and arrest of the fanatics-cum-terrorists immediately./129
