(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Sheikh Ali Salman, the Secretary-General of Al Wefaq National Islamic Society opened The Revolution Museum which documents the revolutions for freedom and justice in Bahrain, starting from the historic Pearl-Divers Revolution going through the milestones of the struggles history and reaching today’s Pearl Revolution. The museum contains belongings of Bahraini martyrs and exhibits over 30 types of torture methods used in the Bahraini jails.A number of artists, journalists and opposition leaders along with family members of martyrs attended the opening of the museum and which was followed by a tour with Al-Wefaq’s Secretary-General.The museum will be open daily from 4:30pm to 10pm until November 2nd, 2013.The museum exhibits panoramic scenes of the revolutions across Bahrain’s history, starting from the Pearl-Divers revolution, going through the beginning of the oil era and the murder of the prominent cleric Shaikh Hussain Al-Asfoor, to the uprisings of the seventies, eighties and nineties and finally today’s Pearl Revolution that erupted on February 14, 2011.The Run-over PanoramaA panoramic scene of the child martyr Ali Baddah, 16, who was run over by the security forces with a four-wheel-drive vehicle as they went after peaceful prodemocracy protesters after midnight on 19th November, 2011. His mobile phone status was “what a hard homeland you are, you live in my heart and I live in your jails”.The Gas PanoramaThis panorama pictures the painful stories of the people due to the insane and excessive use of tear gas fired by the security forces, and which had led to the death of tens of martyrs, including young and old people, newborns and even the loss of embryos.The panorama is lively told by the victims’ windows that speak through the tear gas. Baby martyr Sajidah, and the disabled woman, the martyr Zaynab Juma’ah and many others tell the suffocating details.The Mosques PanoramaThe Imam Baqer Mosque in Nuwaidrat village demolished by the regime armed forces on 19th April, 2011 during the National Safety Law. During that time, the regime forces had demolished 38 mosques and this has been documented by the Liberties and Human Rights Department in Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society.The Martyrs PanoramaThis is an exhibition of over 25 belongings of the martyrs of the Pearl Revolution, as well as martyrs of the past revolutions. It also has items of some unique prominent Bahraini figures who contributed to the political history of Bahrain, such as Shaikh Abdul Ameer Al-Jamri.The Torture PanoramaAn artistic manifestation of four prison cells, each picturing a painful side of the prisoners sufferings, as five martyrs of the Pearl Revolution have been tortured to death in prison. In fact, many human rights organizations had talked about torturing over 3000 Bahraini citizens in the regime’s detention centres. Added to the tens of martyrs who had been tortured to death during the past revolutions that erupted by the people of Bahrain earlier.The Cinema PanoramaIt is a silenced room where visitors can feel the painful experience of the oppressed prisoners, the place makes them feel the atmosphere of the interrogation room by having an actor interrogating the visitorhttp://goo.gl/cmzyWE
