(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Sheikh Mohammed Amin Antaki has penned his experience of converting into Shi'ism in a book entitled as 'Why I became a Shi'a'.
The Persian rendition of the book is provided by Ayatolkah Marashi Najafi Shoushtari in seven chapters elaborating on the writers reasons for converting into the Islamic sect.
Prior to turning into a Shi'a, the author meticulously studied over a hundred reference works on various Islamic sects and went through almost all the accessible evidence which could show him the truth. He became Shi'a after reading all the histories of the prophet's companions and the beginning year is Islam.
The book sheds light on the method he adhered to reach his final decision about his religious belief. A biography of the writer, the Shia belief about the book, Hadith about the prophet's heir, Hadith about Imam Ali's greatness and his true followers, and the wretched Saqifa event and its aftermaths are considered throughout the book.
Khorsandi has released the 447-page book in the Iranian book market.
