Bahraini Opposition Hail Nasrallah Speech

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) -  The Coalition Youth of 14 Feb Revolution, a group opposed to the Al-e Khalifa regime, hailed the speech by Hezbollah Leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.In a statement, the coalition praised Nasrallah for his stance against the Bahraini regime’s violent crackdown on people, 14febrayer.com reported.The statement said the regime’s crimes against the Bahraini nation are carried out with support from Saudi Arabia, the US and Britain.It welcomed Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s speech in which he denounced Al-e Khalifa regime’s violent repression, destroying mosques, desecrating sanctities and violating human rights.In his Monday speech, Nasrallah said the Bahraini regime should not think it can continue repressing the nation of Bahrain.Bahrain’s foreign minister reacted to Nasrallah’s speech on Tweeter, calling him a “criminal”.Bahrain has been the scene of demonstrations since mid-February 2011. Thousands of pro-democracy protesters have staged numerous demonstrations on the streets of Bahrain, calling for the Al Khalifa family to relinquish power.Following the eruption of the protests, the Bahraini regime promptly launched a brutal crackdown on the peaceful protests and called in Saudi-led Arab forces from neighboring states to assist the suppression.Dozens of Bahraini people have been killed in the crackdown, and the security forces have arrested hundreds, including doctors and nurses. /129
